Lordy. I put this week’s issue out and my brain hurts. But looking at this photo from The Silver Sands Motel, which is featured as this week’s Trip Pick, reminds me of a recent tranquil weekend I spent on The North Fork. Fun fact: I took the photos in this week’s issue with a disposable camera due to my digital one breaking. No instagram required. 

This hotel in Marrakech makes me want to pack my bags. No minibars, TVs, phones, or locks on the doors … just, it seems, pure tranquility.

I’m such a sucker for old photos of How Glamorous Flying Used To Be. I also love Finger Foods from The 50s! And any Champagne served up in a saucer style glass tastes just a little bit fancier to me… I don’t have any flights scheduled for awhile but maybe, just maybe, I’ll dress up the next time I do and bring some hors d’oeuvre in a tupperware.
